Tour Description

While the Eje Cafetero is known forits quantity production, Santander is known for its high quality, especially the organic coffees.

The coffee from Santander and especially from La Mesa de Los Santos is recognized for its high quality and for being 100% organic. The coffee tour will take place at the Hacienda El Roble farm, officially producer of the most exclusive coffee in Colombia and the third most expensive in the world. The farm is one of the oldest in Colombia and is the largest in La Mesa de los Santos. Due to the fact that the entire region produces organic coffee, this farm has a perfect living space for birds, therefore we can find 127 different species of birds living on the farm.

Upon arrival, you will have time to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the guest house with a welcome coffee. The coffee tour begins with a walk through the coffee plantations and the open-air coffee museum where everything about the coffee plant and the different varieties will be explained. After the walk, you will arrive at the production facilities where all the steps from the coffee harvest to the finished bean will be shown. The tour ends with the coffee tasting experience that fascinates most travelers due to the quality.

Prices may vary according to the season.
